Dear Joe:

Each year, our YMCA reaches out to thousands of individuals and families to insure that a needed program experience is available—maybe an after school program, a week away at camp, a teen leadership course, or a job skills class. In addition to direct assistance, we have subsidized the costs of many programs targeted at young people in order to insure accessibility. These commitments come at a cost and it is our belief that the cost is worth it!

To provide adequate funding, we conduct an annual “Strong Kids Campaign” during the months of February and March. I would like to invite you to join with us through this campaign.

I have enclosed the current copy of the “YMCA Strong Kids Campaign” brochure which highlights what the YMCA of Boulder Valley is doing for youth and where the “Strong Kids Campaign” funds are allocated.

I appreciate your consideration. Our campaign wraps up on March 10 and I will contact you prior to that date to confirm your involvement. Once a pledge is received, payments may be made any time during the year.

Thanks again for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Mary Maid
