For children ages 6 weeks to 10 years
Child Watch is available to members and guests who are working out or attending classes/ programs provided at the Y. We provide a safe, fun place for your child so that you can work out and your child can time with our caring, trained staff. FREE for up to 2 hours to those that have a Y Family Membership. Please feel free to stop by and visit. Hours are subject to change.
Mapleton Center Child Watch Hours
Monday through Thursday: 8:00am - 1:30pm, 3:00pm - 8:00pm
Friday and Saturday: 8:00am - 4:00pm
Sunday: 8:30am - 2:00pm
Arapahoe Center Child Watch Hours
Monday through Thursday: 8:00am - 1:30pm, 3:00pm - 8:00pm
Friday: 8:00am - 1:30pm, 3:00pm - 6:30pm
Saturday: 7:45am - 4:00pm
Sunday: 8:30am - 2:00pm
Child Watch at both facilities will remain open full days on any day that BVSD is not in session.
FEES:
Family Membership - 2 hours free/additional hour for $2
Adult Memberships - $2 an hour – up to 3 hours
Non-Members - $4 an hour/up to 3 hours while you or your child are in YMCA class or program
Options for older children
Depending on children to staff ratio, it is possible that Kid’s Club and Gym Ventures will be combined with Child Watch.
Kid's Club
(Ages 3 - 10) at the Arapahoe Center
Kid’s Club is provided due to the high volume of children we see at this facility during these times. The program provides a stimulating environment through games and projects especially designed to meet the needs of this age group. The program is normally in the green room around the corner from the front desk. A separate sign in and out sheet is provided for this time period.

Gym Ventures
(Ages 6-10) at the Arapahoe Center
On most days when BVSD schools are not in sessions
Gym Ventures is provide for school age children providing more age appropriate, stimulating activities in a well supervised environment playing age appropriate group games, and having fun making new friends. A separate sign in and out sheet is provided for this area.

Child Watch is available only for 6 weeks to 3 year olds who are not yet potty trained when Kid’s Club and Gym Ventures are available.
