Camp Chief Niwot has been providing a quality camp experience for over 10 summers.  At camp, kids will develop independence, self-confidence and leadership skills all while creating lasting memories.  Each day at camp will start with an opening ceremony involving all campers and then campers will split into their age appropriate groups.  Every camp session, the campers will spend two afternoons poolside at the Arapahoe YMCA's new outdoor pool with a splash park, diving boards and waterslide. Fridays will be spent at the Boulder Reservoir.

  • Horseback riding is available once each week for an additional charge of $25/week. (Click Here to download and sign the Equine Liability Waiver.)

Overnights at Camp Chief Niwot (Moved from Camp Ora Penn)

Due to adverse weather conditions coupled with taking safety precautions we will be having our overnights at Camp Chief Niwot.  I know it is a little different then the mountains however we do have one thing that the mountains don’t, a chance to do a Float and Flick.  That’s right, floating on the water while watching a movie at night.  The campers will also enjoy grilling and snacks around a fire and sleeping under the stars.  The sleepover provides dinner and snack for the evening along with breakfast, snack and lunch for the next day.  Campers will need to provide a sleeping bag and pad, flashlight or headlamp and personal items. A detailed supply list will be provided upon registration.
