Active Older Adults

The YMCA offers a wide variety of social and exercise programs for the active older adult. Our social programs include trips within Colorado, book club, a monthly potluck with guest speaker and a facilitated casual coffee and conversation. Our exercise programs are appropriate for adults 50+, those returning to exercise and those who are new to exercise. The exercise programs include the SilverSneakersĀ® Fitness Program and Arthritis Foundation Exercise Programs. We also offer an evidence-based program, A Matter of Balance, through a local association. We welcome volunteers to assist with our current programs. We also enjoy your suggestions and ideas for future programs.
