Yoga

We have many yoga classes that we offer that are FREE to YMCA members. Some of the classes that we offer are:

Beginner Yoga

Instruction of various yoga disciplines consiting of physical exercises meditation, breathing techniques, and relaxation to build strength, balance, and peace of mind.

Easy-Does-It-Yoga

This is a great class for beginners, seniors, or those recovering from an injury.

Gentle Seated Yoga

A gentle introduction to yoga basics from a seated position. You will be gradually introduced to body awareness, breath control and flexibility.

Yoga Flow

This class leads you through a flowing series of postures to build, strength, flexibility and endurance.

Hatha Yoga

Taught from a Hatha foundation using instruction of various yoga disciplines consisting of physical exercises, meditation, breathing techniques and relaxation to build strength, balance and peace of mind.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Vinyasa, meaning “breathe synchronized movement.” We will link breath to movement with a diversity of postures.

YogaSculpt

This class integrates Yoga postures while using hand weights, during certain postures, during the class.

Yogalates

Combines yoga poses with Pilates mat exercises to build abdominal and lower back strength, while enhancing agility and balance.

 

We also have additional yoga classes and workshops that require a fee for both members and non-members. Members receive a discounted price.
