Pilates is a system of controlled exercises that engage the mind and condition the body. It is a balanced blend of strength and flexibility training that improves posture and creates long, lean muscles without bulking up. Pilates works several muscle groups simultaneously through smooth continuous motion concentrating on strengthening and stabilizing the core (abdomen, back and pelvic girdle). Regular workouts on the reformer can correct muscle imbalances and can work for every body. Class sessions are 1 hour.
Our certified instructors range from 1-10+ years teaching Pilates, some have recovered from injuries using the Pilates Reformer and others have helped many people recover from their injuries. All are dedicated advocates of the many benefits regular workouts on the reformer can achieve.
