The Y has lined up a feast of fun for your kiddos. Here, we’ve compiled the Y’s 2016 Thanksgiving and winter break camps, so you can see all that we have to offer in one place.

Thanksgiving Volleyball Camp

3rd-8th Grade

During the Thanksgiving camp, your child will learn and build on the fundamentals of volleyball skills in a fun and positive environment. Elbow and knee pads are strongly recommended. Y coaches will separate participants based on skill level and ability.

Attend one or multiple days during the school year. K-5th graders can join the Y during school days off for field trips, sports, arts and crafts, group games, clubs, outdoor play and tons of adventure. Held at elementary school locations throughout BVSD. You do not need to be enrolled in the school-year or year-round plans to attend. Children from all schools welcome!

BVSD Lifelong Learning Camps (K-5th)

The YMCA offers enrichment-focused after school classes and school day off camps at BVSD schools. Several LEGO classes are offered as well as sports including basketball, soccer and flag football. Check out Thanksgiving and Winter Break camps.

Middle School Day Off Camps (6th-8th)

Put down your cell phones and turn off your video games. School days off just got a lot more fun. The Y’s Middle School Day Off Camps for grades 6th-8th are back and better than ever, giving our campers countless opportunities to explore and engage with the world. Camps will include field trips, cooking and unique activities geared toward getting middle schoolers engaged, energized and excited. Youth from around Boulder County can participate in our school day off camps. It’s a chance to meet new people and make new friends. Register online with the corresponding code below or fill out the Middle School Day Off Camp form.

We’re making handmade gifts for local children’s hospitals and watching A Christmas Story. Then we’re off to the Arapahoe Y for ice skating.

Our gift making project continues on day two. Later, we’ll travel to a galaxy far, far away and see Star Wars: Rogue One.
