The Front Range’s newest skatepark has terrain for everybody, and the craftsmanship is flawless. Great features are fit together into a relatively small footprint, with pretty views. You can session one feature or ride the whole skatepark in a run! Approximately one hour driving time.
Colorado Springs Memorial Skatepark

With Pike’s Peak as a backdrop, Colorado Springs Memorial Skatepark is a nearly 40,000 square foot concrete wonderland. The skatepark has challenges for all abilities, and some of the most unique features of any skatepark, anywhere. Approximately two hours drive time.
Ft. Collins Skatepark Tour
Thurs. March 25, 8:30am-4:30pm

Variety of terrain is Ft. Collins strength when it comes to skateparks. We will visit at least two of the four skateparks in town, and trip participants will decide which ones!
Fossil Creek consists of curbs, stairs, ledges and rails. No transition.
Northside Aztlan Skatepark is a “DIY” style skatepark, with street and transition features.
Boulder Skatepark Clean-up

Time to give back! We will meet at the Boulder Skatepark and perform community service, beautifying the area around the skatepark and cleaning up the winter’s refuse. After the work is done, we’ll have some fun and goofy competitions for prizes! Bring work gloves, water, snacks, lunch and/or $5 for pizza lunch.
DETAILS FOR SKATE TRIPS: We Meet at and Return to Boulder Skatepark for skate trips. Fee: covers transportation and staffing costs. Bring skateboard, helmet and safety gear, lunch, water, appropriate clothing.
All trips are weather-dependent. (rain/snow=no trip) RSVP to reserve your seat!

We will meet at the YMCA of Boulder Valley Mapleton Center and travel to Loveland Basin for a day on the slopes! Once there we will form ability groups and explore the mountain together. Participants should have their own equipment, or rent it from a shop the day before the trip. Skiers and riders comfortable on Green terrain and chairlifts are welcome. This is not a trip for beginners. Helmets are required for all participants. Prices vary by age, due to lift ticket prices. Bring: Skis/snowboard and boots, appropriate clothing including gloves, helmet and eyewear, lunch or lunch money, snacks and sunscreen. RSVP to reserve your seat!
