Mini Kickers
Spring & Fall • 3 Years (Coed)
Mini-Kickers gives players an opportunity to get started learning the skills of soccer early on. This clinic style program is led by YMCA Staff and focuses on developing players’ basic skills, understanding of the game, sportsmanship, and of course having fun. Players will not be placed on teams for this program, as all players will practice together. Clinics take place on Friday evenings during the weeks of each Spring and Fall Soccer Season.  A good pair of athletic shoes or soccer cleats and shin guards are strongly recommended. The YMCA will provide jerseys for each player.

Little Kickers
Spring & Fall • 4 Years - 5 Years (Coed)
For pre-school aged players (4 to 5 yrs) that want to start playing against other kids. The league uses small sided games and heavily modified rules. Little Kickers will have a 30-minute practice and a 24-minute game per week. A good pair of athletic shoes or soccer cleats and shin guards are required. The YMCA will provide team t-shirt and end-of-season medals.

Rec Soccer
Spring & Fall • 4yrs – 2nd Grade (Coed)
YMCA Recreational Soccer uses modified rules designed to teach the fundamentals and skills of soccer. K-2 will practice once a week for an hour. Little Kickers will have 25 min practices followed by a 25 min game. Practices for K-2 begin the week of 3/16. Games begin 4/3 and are held every Saturday through 5/15. Participants should have cleats or tennis shoes. Shin guards are required. Games will be played at Superior Community Park, the Arapahoe YMCA Turf Field and a location in Boulder that is TBA.

YMCA Indoor Soccer
Winter • (K – 5th Grade) No Practice League

Designed to sharpen the athlete’s soccer fundamentals. Games are 3v3, which helps to develop the players’ sense of passing within a triangle on offense. It also gives the players more time with the ball in order to hone ball handling skills. This is also a great program for teams if they are interested in keeping players together for the spring season. Games are refereed and run for approximately 1 hour on Sundays.

No Practice League (NPL) Soccer
Summer • K – 5th Grade (Coed)
Our NPL leagues are a great way for players to improve their game skills and stay in shape for the next season. Players should have general soccer skills and understand the rules of the game. Although there are no practices, players will still be placed on teams and have a coach; this is not a pick-up league! Participants can either sign up as a team or individuals.

In-Season Soccer Clinics
Spring & Fall • 4yrs – 6th Grade
These clinics are for players who either weren’t able to dedicate the time to play in the soccer league or who just want a little extra practice time each week. YMCA Clinic Coaches will lead the players in drills and games that develop their skills and understanding of the game. Participants will be arranged in three different levels: 4-5 year olds, K-2nd Grade, and 3rd-6th Grade. All three levels will practice with separate clinic coaches, but at the same time and location on a designated week night. Shin guards are required and cleats are recommended. You may register for this program either on the soccer registration form for spring or fall, or separately.
