School Day Off Activities: (6th-12th Graders)
Hike and a Treat
Mon, Sept 6, 10am–3pm, $10
Meet at the YMCA, then we will go to an nearby park to enjoy a fun hike and our beautiful surroundings. After the hike we will cool off and chill with a delish treat.
Soccer, Dodgeball and Pizza
Fri, Sept 17, 1pm-4pm, $5
Energetic and friendly soccer match for 6th-12th graders. Come and play an awesome indoor game of soccer then dodgeball, or just come to watch and cheer on the players. First two hours will be spent playing, then after everyone works up an appetite we will break for pizza!
Yoga and Treats
Thur, Nov 11, 11am-3pm, $10
How can you resist this delightful event combination? We will start off with a yoga/meditation workshop. Lunch will follow, and then off we will go to walk through the beautiful city of Boulder to end our day with Ice Cream if the weather is warm or hot chocolate if the weather is cold. Please bring your own lunch.
“Breaking Dawn”
Mon, Nov 22, 11am-4pm, $12
Walk over to the Century Movie Theater to catch the first matinee of “Breaking Dawn” . We will then head over to Chipotle for late lunch. Lunch and movie included in fee. Please bring additional money for movie snacks.
Dance Workshop
Tues, Nov 23, 10am-2pm, $10
Meet at the Mapleton Center YMCA to learn some fun and easy dance moves. We will begin our day with a soothing warm-up, then try some hip hop and modern dance. We are even gonna give poi a shot. We will break for lunch at 12pm.
Duct Tape Art
Wed, Nov 24, 10am-Noon, $5
Join us and learn how to make cool and useful duct tape pieces. From a wallet, to a purse, to a camera case, you can make it.

Make unique gifts for your family or friends. Learn to make ice candles, cookie mixes and decorate ornaments.
Hip-Hop and Swimming
Tues, Dec 21, 11am-3pm, $10
Join us for a fun, easy and energetic Hip-Hop dance class, then we will hop in the pool after lunch. Please bring your lunch.
Roller Skating
Wed, Dec 22, 11am-3:30pm, $12
Meet at the Mapleton Center YMCA, then we will hop on a bus and head to skate city. After skating we will stop for ice cream.
Snack Attack and Movie
Thur, Dec 23, 10am-3:30pm, $10
Join us to make delicious snacks. Examples of what we make may be rice crispy treats or chocolate covered pretzels. Then we will head to the YMCA’s projection room to watch a movie.
Bowling and Billiards at The UMC
Mon, Dec 27, 9:15am-1:30pm, $10
Meet at the Mapleton Center YMCA then ride over to the University Memorial Center on the CU campus to bowl or shoot pool. Bring your lunch or money to eat at the Food Court.
Game Day and “Noodles”

You name it, we’ll play it. Dodgeball? Soccer? Basketball? Board games? Card games? Relay races? What do you wanna play? We will have Noodles and Co. for lunch.
Movie Matinee
