Refueling Stations are strength-based programs that utilize the Search Institutes 40 Developmental Assets and emphasize the four core values of the YMCA—caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
Refueling Stations provide free, drop-in programming for all middle school youth at six BVSD middle schools - Angevine, Centennial, Manhattan, Louisville and Southern Hills. Current programs include skateboard club, art, dance, board games, homework help, indoor soccer, volleyball, lacrosse and cycling. Programs are offered both before and after school, staffed by caring adults from the Teen Department of the YMCA of Boulder Valley.
