Every YMCA across the nation is volunteer founded, volunteer led and volunteer based. Collectively, YMCAs are the largest nonprofit organization in the nation and benefit from the leadership of more than 600,000 volunteers. The YMCA of Boulder Valley welcomes volunteers in all areas of our association. Duties range in responsibility from reading to our preschool students to coaching youth sports to greeting members at our front desk. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, we can work together to find a placement that fits your availability, personality and interests.
Volunteering at the YMCA of Boulder Valley can accomplish the following:
It is our corporate policy that all volunteers must pass a criminal background screening prior to placement.
It’s National Volunteer Week April 6-13, and we want to take this opportunity to thank you for your service to the Y. The generosity of others is at the core of our existence. It is only through the support of our hundreds of volunteers and donors that we are able to give back to the communities we serve. Please stop by one or both of our YMCA’s for a thank you barbecue.
