Without the generosity of our donors, the Y could not be a champion for parents, kids and seniors in Boulder, Broomfield and Weld counties. No matter how you want to support the Y, your gift will be administered as you like — having the kind of impact you want to make in your community.

Community Support Campaign

For a Better You. For a Better Future. For a Better Us.

One in three members and participants access Y offerings with the help of financial assistance. As a nonprofit organization, we never turn away anyone based on inability to pay.

But we need your financial support to keep that promise.

The YMCA of Boulder Valley’s Community Support Campaign takes place every February. Your gift to the annual Community Support Campaign ensures that all people have the opportunity to thrive — regardless of their financial resources.

  • $15,000 - Underwrites a weeklong experience for 21 low-income children at YMCA Camp Santa Maria, our overnight camp.
  • $10,000 - Provides a scholarship for a child in need to attend YMCA Inspire Preschool for a year.
  • $5,000 - Funds seven YMCA Mini Kickers soccer teams.
  • $1,000 - Gives an adult with Parkinson’s disease access to YMCA Parkinson’s Fitness Programs for an entire year.
  • $500 - Saves lives by granting swim lessons to eight children.
  • $250 - Ensures a child learns the simple joy of riding a bicycle through our Y Riders program.

In February and March, the Y is raising money to provide financial assistance to help low-income families access Y programs. But we need your help! There are plenty of opportunities for you to participate. Here are a few fundraising events we have planned.

The YMCA of Boulder Valley has become a support system and safety net for parents in need of extra support. Here are the stories of some of the families.

“In Boulder, we have families that aren’t visible to average people, but they are visible to the Y.”

Capital Development & Other Projects

Capital development gifts provide the community with resources, properties and assets that make impacts long into the future. They ensure Y facilities are kept up to date, and they make sure the Y has space for life-changing programs.

The Cohagen-Platts Sports Field, Carlston Ice Arena, the Y pools, YMCA Memorial Garden and the Arapahoe Y pool bubble are all made possible with capital development gifts.

Gift Matching

You can make an even greater impact with your donation by securing a matching gift from your employer. When your employer supports your charitable giving, it amplifies the impact of your gift and helps us serve more families.

Leave a Legacy for Years to Come

The YMCA of Boulder Valley Endowment Fund consists of legacy gifts intended to support the vision and sustainability of our YMCA. As this fund grows, earnings will support programs in our annual operating budget, provide flexibility in developing programs to respond to changing community needs, support future facility maintenance and create a safety net for times of crisis or economic uncertainty.

Supporting the YMCA of Boulder Valley Endowment Fund ensures that your impact on this organization, this community and your neighbors continues long into the future. With your gift, the Y will be here for years to come.
