GLOBAL TEEN LEADERSHIP

Experience the trip of a lifetime!

Rising 11th and 12th graders and newly graduated high school students will be selected to join the YMCA of Boulder Valley Global Leadership Program. Monthly leadership and service learning projects culminate in a two-week trip to Peru June 27-July 11, 2019.

Students will participate in leadership training workshops and service learning projects in the community beginning in winter 2019. Workshop topics will include cultural competency, service vs. charity, trust and teamwork and basic cultural lessons. We’ll also do a team building day at YMCA Camp Santa Maria in Bailey, CO.

During the Peru trip, all students will be accompanied by trained professional YMCA staff who will be available 24/7 as well as staff from the Peruvian YMCA to help with local logistics.
